Innsbruck

Innsbruck offers a wide variety of activities. As a winter and summer resort, it hosted the Winter Olympics in 1964 and 1976 and will appeal to anyone interested in Sports, Culture and Nature.

Historic city centre of Innsbruck (distance from hotel about 1,5 km): Many historic buildings from 15th and 16th century are in the Citycentre. Interesting sights are the "Golden roof", the "Helblinghaus", "the Hofburg", "the city-tower", "the Ottoburg", "the dome of St. Jacob", the "Landestheater", "the Royal Church" and many more.

Beside lots of sights Innsbruck offers excellent shopping facilities, in the historic city centre as well as in the area around the Maria-Theresien-Street, where especially the newly opened city-Galeries invite you to spend your time for shopping or relaxing in a nice bar or restaurant.
